Playing sport and having some form of competition has always been a key aspects in my life. Being a competitive swimmer when I was younger and playing rugby from age 6 going on to represent a professional rugby academy and one of the best sporting universities.
This level of high performance always pushed me to have determination and to chasing the next challenge thats going to allow me to face adversity and overall learn/develop.
Why recruitment?
I was working in a lab where there was a lack of interpersonal relationship building, interaction and challenge, which I felt were my strengths that weren’t being utilised. I wanted more of an entrepreneurial role where I could make a difference through working hard, having constant interactions and building relationships to help others.
If I wasn’t in recruitment I’d probably be using rugby to travel the world seeing how many countries I could play in.
Since a trip to Australia when I was 12, I always saw myself living in different countries to experience different cultures. I had an opportunity to move to Dubai through recruiting in the construction of data centers in America, not only offering the challenge of working in a highly competitive market but a fascinating market that is constantly innovating and sculpting the future use of technology in various sectors.
I was put in touch with Jack and Peter, after chatting, by not only understanding their vision for the business but the passion and belief for what they wanted to do, it was too exciting of an opportunity to turn down.
